It’s a great pleasure for us to welcome you to 2019 Korea-Japan Symposium on Power Systems Technology that starts in Jinju, South Korea. We wish you will have a wonderful time here. The objective of the symposium is to promote the researches and to exchange knowledge in the field of policy and strategy engineering between Korea and Japan about power system in recently. Especially, this 2019 symposium is focused on renewable energy generation(REG), International Standards, VPP, ESS and EV etc. However, the discussion topics are beyond the REG, International Standards, VPP, ESS and EV. And also, surely, the discussion area include not only operational research and policy & strategy science but also the theoretical and methodological research works, such as REG credits evaluation and integrated information system for policy decision making of the harmonized and coordinated new generation grid planning and operation. We wish to establish more friendship of power system related organizers, engineers between Korea and Japan. We express the thanks to the Gyeongsang National University 4IR-PSRED, RIGET, Korea University, Consortium for Electric Power Technology in Japan, CRIEPI, Waseda University, TEPCO, KEPCO, KPX, KERI, KEPRI, KOEN, CIGRE that supported the organization of the symposium and also appreciate the support of other companies.
